Machine polish is carefully administered to the surface, targeting minor imperfections and swirl marks left by the clay bar treatment. This ensures a smooth and uniform surface for subsequent treatments.
A buffing machine with an abrasive compound is employed to address deeper flaws such as scratches and oxidation. This stage removes a significant portion of the clear coat, effectively addressing pronounced imperfections. In cases of severe imperfections beyond polishing capabilities, wet sanding is performed manually using wet sandpaper.
After wet sanding, the surface may appear hazy due to extensive clear coat removal.
To restore the paint’s shine and clarity, a two-stage buffing and polishing process is executed.
